Description
The City of Bryan is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for three construction packages: replacement of the NW sanitary sewer interceptor, Still Creek Sewer Plant bank stabilization, and Still Creek wastewater treatment plant pump replacement. Work includes sanitary sewer lines, manholes, concrete piers, sewer crossings, demolition and replacement of effluent and storm sewer piping, sheet piling, channel protection, erosion controls, site restoration, pump and motor replacement, piping, valves, fittings, slide gates, controls, and temporary bypass pumping. Addendum No. 1 provides estimated construction costs of $278,145 for Package A, $1,120,540 for Package B, and a $171,500 base bid for Package C, totaling $1,570,185 before three alternates of $2,000, $2,650, and $3,300. The addendum also identifies estimated project commencement dates of March 10, 2027, for Packages A and C, and March 18, 2027, for Package B; these are subject to modification by the City. Proposers must submit pricing, schedules, organizational information, resumes, relevant project experience, references, required forms and certifications, and a five-percent proposal bond. Insurance, performance and payment bonds, contractor registration, and applicable construction, safety, environmental, and prevailing-wage requirements also apply.
