Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a firm-fixed-price service contract for a small-business contractor to remove and replace Luxury Vinyl Tile flooring in the red-outlined areas of Building 10A West at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. The amendment identifies approximately 4,800 square feet of flooring, approximately 720 linear feet of rubber cove base, approximately 150 linear feet of millwork baseboard, and approximately 30 doors requiring cut-in work. Full rooms and corridors within the designated areas will be replaced wall-to-wall. The contractor must provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, subfloor preparation, flooring installation, baseboards, transitions and reducers, caulking, debris removal, and cleanup. The originally specified Karndean product may change; the Government will provide a revised flooring selection, and the contractor is responsible for supplying the flooring. Moisture testing is not included in the contractor's pricing, but a moisture barrier must be included if required by the Government's testing results. Extensive unforeseen subfloor remediation would be handled separately by contract modification. Work is expected during normal hours, with final scheduling coordinated after award. No bid, payment, or performance bonds are required, and unrestricted subcontracting is expressly permitted. The procurement is a total small-business set-aside and will use lowest-priced technically acceptable selection.
