Description
Springfield Public Schools is soliciting an informal quote for selective flooring replacement at the Kraft Administrative Center and General Services Center. The work includes removing existing carpet squares and laminate flooring, preparing concrete substrates, making minor surface repairs, and installing specified luxury vinyl tile, laminate flooring, cove base, transitions, caulk, door stops, adhesives, and sealers. Existing carpet squares at the Kraft Administrative Center must be saved for reuse by the District, and demolition waste must be disposed of off-site. The base bid covers flooring work in the Kraft Administrative Center corridor, Board Room 123, and bathrooms. An alternate covers the General Services Center break room. Work must occur outside owner-occupied dates and times, with final completion required by January 3, 2027. A mandatory site visit is required to bid. The response must include the required District forms, a detailed service description, company and experience information, references, workforce and local-government experience information, business hours, emergency-response provisions, representative contact information, proposed start and completion durations, pricing, and required acknowledgments.
