Description
Darlington County is seeking a qualified firm to remove and properly dispose of approximately 5,300 square feet of existing carpeting throughout Lamar Branch Library and install high-impact laminate flooring. The bidder must provide competent supervision, obtain all necessary licenses, protect people and property, minimize interference with library activities, and submit a flooring replacement plan, required-item list, and warranty information. Proposals will be evaluated based on price, materials, warranties, and responsiveness and responsibility. The solicitation requires a 5% bid bond for bids of $100,000 or more; the awarded contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. Required insurance includes general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation coverage, with specified limits and Darlington County additional-insured and waiver-of-subrogation provisions.
