Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting competitive bids for removal and disposal of existing luxury vinyl tile flooring and installation of rolled vinyl flooring in Unit 1, Building 515, at Rio Grande State Center. The work includes adhesive removal, substrate preparation and minor repairs, replacement of baseboards, installation of rolled vinyl with welded or chemically bonded seams, furniture relocation, cleanup, and disposal of site waste. The specified materials include City Hub Collection 4424 rolled vinyl flooring, or equivalent; Roppe 700 Series cove base in Smoke 174, or equivalent; Oak Nut weld rod, or an approved equivalent; manufacturer-approved adhesive; and cementitious patching compound. Bidders must attend one of two mandatory on-site visits, provide at least three verifiable references for similar contracts completed within the last three years, and submit pricing, affirmations, qualifications, and other required response materials. The initial contract term begins upon award and expires August 31, 2027, with a possible extension of up to one year.
