Description
Oklahoma County is soliciting bids for indefinite-quantity commercial carpet, carpet tile, laminate, luxury vinyl tile, ceramic and indoor/outdoor flooring services. The scope includes flooring removal, floor preparation, disposal, measurement, cutting, installation, repair and replacement, furniture and equipment moving, edging and molding, cove base, adhesives, tack strips, and related materials. Pricing is requested per square yard and must include labor and specified material categories. Work must generally be performed outside normal business hours, after 5:00 p.m. and before 7:00 a.m., with weekend scheduling also permitted. The contractor must coordinate work with affected departments and Facility Maintenance, respond to assigned-project scheduling requests within three business days, provide at least a one-year installation warranty and applicable manufacturer warranties, and comply with the Carpet and Rug Institute commercial carpet installation standard CRI 104-2002. Proof of surety bond, liability insurance, and workers’ compensation insurance is required before work begins.
