Description
Montgomery County is soliciting a contractor to remove and dispose of existing carpet from raised-floor access panels, hallways, offices, support rooms, and other designated areas at its Emergency Operations Center. The contractor must coordinate the work with the 24-hour emergency operations center, move and restore obstructing furniture daily, and perform the work during the center's business hours as directed by facility management. The scope includes furnishing and installing approximately 262 square yards of Static Smart Discovery Series carpet in the EOC area in the color Galileo, approximately 215 square yards of the same carpet in a color to be determined in the hallway and Technical Services area, and approximately 253 square yards in the Media Room, QA/QI Area, offices, and hallway areas. Bidders must attend the required pre-bid walkthrough, provide at least three references for similar installations, and submit pricing for the base work and specified additional carpet options. The solicitation also requires a current W-9, Appendix A, a bid bond, acceptance of the terms and conditions, bid tables, and responsible-contractor documentation.
