Description
The City of Oxford, Mississippi, is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for equipment and related services to implement a Flood Threat Recognition System (FTRS). This project is funded by the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Emergency Management Agency Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. The project includes equipment for rainfall and water-level monitoring, flow-velocity measurement, telemetry, solar power, battery backup, cloud-based monitoring, data storage, and automated alert notifications. Installation services and annual telemetry and cloud-based services for 10 years are available as add alternates. Proposals will be evaluated based on a best-value selection process, considering technical approach, vendor qualifications and experience, price and long-term cost, product availability, implementation schedule, cloud platform and alerting capabilities, installation approach, support services, and proposal responsiveness. Minority and women's business enterprises are encouraged to bid and inquire about subcontracting opportunities.
