Description
This solicitation is for the widening, overlaying, and marking of an airport runway located in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, and will be publicly opened at the Pontotoc County Chancery Building. Electronic bids can be submitted through www.esiplans.com. Copies of bid documents, drawings, and specifications are available for inspection and purchase at Engineering Solutions, Inc. plan room at www.esiplans.com. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, which can be a certified check or bid bond. Bids will be held for a period not to exceed 60 days. This project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act and other Federal provisions, including Executive Order No. 11246, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and DOT regulations regarding debarment and foreign trade restrictions. The County also ensures that disadvantaged business enterprises will have full and fair opportunity to participate and will not be discriminated against. By submitting a bid, offerors certify they are not currently debarred or suspended by any Federal department or agency. The Pontotoc County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or award the contract in its best interest.
