Description
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Corporation for the procurement of specific aircraft parts, identified by P/N: FM300A381-0051, NSN: 7R5841016504230, Quantity: 2, and FSC: 5841. The government does not own the drawings or data for these parts, and therefore cannot purchase them from alternative sources. This is a sole source procurement under Source Authority: 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as supplemented by FAR 6.302, with Sikorsky anticipated as the sole acceptable offeror. The award is expected under the existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00383-26-G-AB01. Firms not already approved to manufacture this material must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR), and this procurement will not be delayed for SAR approval. The government is not using FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) for this solicitation. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but any proposals received within 35 days of the synopsis date will be considered for determining if a competitive procurement is warranted. This procurement is not a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
