Description
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the construction of a Snow Removal Equipment Building - Building Package at the Memphis International Airport. The project, MSCAA Project No. 23-1476-17-02, involves the construction of an approximately 49,000 sq ft Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) to store snow removal equipment. The scope includes building construction, relocation of Airport Operations Area (AOA) fencing, concrete paving, and associated utilities such as storm drainage, fiber optic, electrical, and water installation, a fire sprinkler system, and Portland cement concrete pavement. Key requirements include adherence to FAA provisions such as Buy American Preference, Foreign Trade Restriction, Davis-Bacon Act, Affirmative Action, Debarment and Suspension, and Drug-Free Workplace. Bidders must be licensed in Tennessee and provide a 5% Bid Guarantee. The successful bidder must execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond for 100% of the Contract Price and meet the Small Business Participation Program (SBPP) goal of 15%. Key dates include a Posted Date of May 26, 2026, and a Due Date of June 23, 2026. A virtual pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The project site will be available for inspection following the pre-bid meeting at 1:30 PM on the same day, with registration required by June 3, 2026.
