Description
The 164th Airlift Wing is soliciting quotes for shade structure canopies. The requirement is for two canopies, each measuring 20 feet in length by 25 feet in projection, with a 10-foot entry height. The structures will be installed in grass and will require eight hollow structural section (HSS) steel posts and eight HSS cantilever structures. The steel components must be cold-formed HSS ASTM A500 Grade C, triple-coated for rust protection, and fabricated in accordance with AISC specifications. The fabric for the canopy should be a high-density polyethylene with UV additives, meeting specific ASTM tear strength, burst strength, fading, and life expectancy requirements, and must also pass NFPA 701 and ASTM E84 fire tests. The fabric color is Desert Sand. All materials, including steel cable assemblies, anchor bolts, and fasteners, must be provided. The structure must be designed to withstand wind loads of 90 mph. The solicitation is set aside for Total Small Businesses and will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. Quotes should include all materials and shipping charges (FOB destination).
