Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) for an upgrade to the GE Fanuc 90-30 PLC in Engine Test Cell 4. The existing PLC is obsolete and unsupported, posing a risk of indefinite downtime if it fails. The upgrade involves replacing the GE Fanuc PLC with a new Allen-Bradley Compact Logix 1769 Series PLC. The scope of work includes transposing existing ladder logic into RSLogix 5000/Studio 5000 to maintain current operational functionality, creating CAD drawings of the new installation, removing the old PLC, installing the new PLC, and conducting operational checks to verify functionality. The period of performance is sixty (60) calendar days. The place of performance will be Corpus Christi Army Depot, 308 Crecy Street, Corpus Christi, Texas.
