Description
The City of Taft is accepting bids for the Water Line Improvements Project (GLOMIT - MOD No. 24-065-121-E963). The project includes installation of 15,654 linear feet of waterline with 275 linear feet of 20-inch bore and casing, and water service connections. The waterline runs from Hidalgo Boulevard to a groundwater storage tank off Packing House Avenue, from the groundwater storage tanks to Victoria Avenue, and from McIntyre Avenue to the elevated storage tank off Retama Avenue in Taft, San Patricio County, Texas. The project is financed with assistance from the General Land Office under the CDBG-MIT program and is subject to Davis-Bacon wage rates.
