Palm Beach County seeks firm, fixed pricing for a one-time, turnkey service at a water utilities treatment plant. The contractor must pump approximately 1,100 pounds of 99.99% liquid anhydrous ammonia from an existing 1,000-gallon tank into DOT-approved vendor-owned containers, remove any solids, sludge, or debris, provide waste manifests and disposal, and supply and install specified OEM replacement valves and repair parts compatible with anhydrous ammonia. The contractor must provide trained personnel, equipment, labor, transportation, and disposal services; test the tank for leaks after completion; and guarantee vapor and liquid blow-offs for five years. A mandatory site inspection is required. The response must include the completed quote response form, qualifications and references, applicable licenses or certifications including HAZMAT certification for contracted employees, required subcontractor schedules when applicable, and specified certifications and affidavits. The work must begin within three days after notification and be completed within one day after starting.
