Description
The Public Utility District No. 1 of Skamania County is soliciting a contractor for a two-phase expansion and renovation of an existing 115 kV-to-12.47 kV substation. Work includes site development, demolition, foundations, fencing, drainage, grounding, concrete trenching, underground conduits and vaults, feeder getaways, riser poles, structural steel, bus connections, and integration of control and communications systems. The contractor must coordinate construction around the existing feeders and phased energization, with no extended outage. The contractor will furnish and install required materials and equipment not designated as owner-furnished, receive and install owner-furnished equipment, and perform or coordinate electrical testing and preparation for energization. Bid submittals must include the prescribed bid forms, bid security, subcontractor list, prequalification application, bidder responsibility statement, non-collusion affidavit, and a bidder-developed critical path schedule. The project is to be completed by November 12, 2027; prevailing wage requirements and a 15% apprentice labor-hour requirement apply.
