Description
The City seeks a contractor to abate asbestos and other hazardous materials, demolish the residence and associated structures, remove foundations and hard surfaces, and restore the property. The attached inspection report identifies asbestos-containing Transite siding, chimney tar, and linoleum, as well as household hazardous materials requiring proper removal and disposal. Abatement must be completed before demolition, and the contractor must provide required notifications, permits, manifests, and air-monitoring documentation. The work also includes utility termination, debris disposal, backfilling and grading, topsoil, seeding and straw, tree and vegetation work, and specified sidewalk and curb repairs. The quote must include separate lump-sum prices for dirt, grading, seed, sidewalk, demolition, and asbestos abatement. The solicitation requires a demolition-specific license and SAM.gov registration/prequalification; the ethics disclosure form and other required questionnaire responses must also be submitted. The contractor must provide bonds, licenses, and insurance after award, within the stated post-award period.
