Description
The project includes full-building hazardous-material remediation and demolition, including asbestos abatement, demolition debris removal and recycling, and removal of pavement, curbs, shrubs, and stumps. The contractor will also perform earthwork, sand backfill, grading, utility removal, abandonment and reconnection, and site restoration, including new concrete curb, gutter and pavement, asphalt pavement, fencing, and pedestrian barricades. Two add alternates cover temporary pedestrian barriers and fencing adjustments for home football games. The specifications identify asbestos-containing materials and require abatement before building demolition. The contractor is responsible for abatement coordination, required controls, waste handling, and clearance procedures. The project’s substantial completion date is October 15, 2027. Bids are submitted electronically through Oracle Primavera Unifier Bid Manager; bidders must register and request access in advance. A bid security of at least 5% of the base bid is required for bids over $50,000, and performance and labor-and-material payment bonds are required for proposals over $50,000.
