Description
The City of Bridgeport is seeking bids to establish a pre-approved list of local contractors available on call during the 2026–2027 winter season. Services may include plowing, sanding, and hauling for city streets, city-owned parking lots, and potentially schools, using vehicles and equipment such as triaxles, six-wheelers, loaders, mason dumps, and other bidder-provided vehicles. Optional sidewalk clearing and de-icing is also included. Bidders must provide vehicle, equipment, labor, licensing, and hourly-rate information. Contractors must be properly licensed and qualified, maintain their equipment, provide their own fuel, and respond as requested by the City. The solicitation prohibits assignment or subcontracting without the City's prior written approval. A bid bond is not required. A satisfactory certificate of insurance is required before award or commencement of work, and a non-collusion affidavit must be submitted with the bid.
