Description
The City of Scottsdale Water Resources Department is soliciting a term contract for the supply and delivery of 50% aluminum chlorohydrate solution for water treatment. The anticipated annual quantity is approximately 490,000 pounds, delivered in approximately 10–12 orders per year. The product should contain at least 12% aluminum, at least 23% aluminum oxide, at least 82% basicity, and comply with applicable NSF Standard 60, AWWA, and ANSI requirements. The solicitation also requires an affidavit confirming NSF certification to the applicable standards. The contractor must provide bulk-delivery equipment, delivery coordination and site-access documentation, safety data sheets, certified weight tickets, product quality documentation upon request, spill response and technical support including a 24-hour emergency phone number, and all required transportation and safety resources. Deliveries are generally required within 10 business days of an order and must be made to the designated water treatment facility during weekday delivery hours. The contract term is one year with four additional one-year renewal periods available by mutual agreement.
