Description
The National Institute of Food and Agriculture is soliciting applications for the Agriculture Risk Management Education Partnerships Competitive Grants Program. The program will fund four regional risk management education centers and one electronic support center. Regional centers will provide education and outreach to farmers, ranchers, and agricultural producers across production, market, financial, legal, and human risk categories, with at least 50 percent of each regional award designated for competitive subaward funding. The electronic support center will provide technical assistance to the regional centers, manage their online grants application and project portal, support reporting and communications, coordinate multi-regional or national events, and maintain a publicly accessible agricultural risk library. Five awards are anticipated. Regional center awards may be up to $2,121,750 each, and the electronic support center award may be up to $565,800. Projects have a 36-month grant duration. Applications must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov and include a project summary, project narrative, bibliography and references cited, data management plan, and any applicable collaborative arrangements, commitment letters, appendices, senior/key person materials, budget, supplemental information, and conflict-of-interest list. The project narrative is limited to 10 pages, with specified formatting requirements, and the data management plan is limited to two pages.
