Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to Herrick Technology Laboratory for a Small Form Factor Software Defined Radio (SDR), Removable Media Modules, and Removable Media Module (RMM) Reprovisioning cables. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334220 - Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The Product Supply Code (PSC) is 5963. The current requirement is for additional hardware systems to stand up a Hardware Integration Laboratory (HWIL) to support Integration and Test (I&T) and provide support through local testing of a representative system. Identical Herrick Technology Laboratory Brand Name hardware is currently integrated into program assets. Alternative SDR products cannot be used because if identical systems are not present, I&T and troubleshooting performed at NUWCDIVNPT may not be representative of existing in-use assets. Additionally, the Herrick Brand Name SDR part number has already been qualified and identified as the required source of supply in the current Government Technical Data Package (TDP). Herrick has no authorized resellers for these items, and is therefore the only responsible source to meet the Government's requirement. The anticipated Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structure includes: CLIN 0001 for a Small form factor Software Defined Radio (SDR), 4 channel, 100MHz IBW in Universal Tactical Package, with power cabling, with 64GB RMM config, PN: TR with SAASM HTLx2-U102100004 (Qty 1); CLIN 0002 for Removable Media Module (RMM) for HTLx2-U, PN: 911-00108-006 (Qty 2); and CLIN 0003 for Removable Media Module (RMM) Reprovisioning cable, PN: 910-00450-001 (Qty 2). Required delivery is F.O.B. Destination, Newport RI.
