Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is soliciting quotations for fiber optics training services. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this opportunity is 611430, with a small business size standard of $15M. The contractor shall provide training for three courses: Termination and Testing, Recertified Fiber Optics Termination and Testing, and Fusion Splicing. Classes will be held face-to-face at the Naval Station-Newport, RI. The contractor is responsible for procuring, providing, and delivering all necessary materials, hardware, and class resources to the training site, which includes obtaining the necessary security clearances. Courses will accommodate up to 15 participants. The period of performance will be from the date of award through September 30, 2028. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis.
