Description
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Border Patrol, is seeking contractor support to modernize and enhance its Land Mobile Radio (LMR) network infrastructure and critical communications systems. This initiative aims to improve the reliability, security, and interoperability of mission-critical communications across several Border Patrol Sectors, including Buffalo, Del Rio, Detroit, El Centro, El Paso, Grand Forks, Havre, Houlton, Rio Grande Valley, San Diego, Swanton, Tucson, and Yuma. Key efforts include technical radio refreshes, coverage enhancements, and upgrades to essential infrastructure such as solar power plants, batteries, generators, towers, and shelters. The project involves a comprehensive scope of work including site surveys, design, installation, integration, testing, optimization, and documentation of LMR systems and related infrastructure. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price task order with a period of performance of 36 months.
