Description
The Rhode Island Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (RIDE) is seeking an evaluator to support its School-Based Mental Health Services Program. This initiative focuses on recruiting and retaining school psychologists, with a specific emphasis on supporting caregiving youth. The evaluator will be responsible for tracking Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) measures at both the local education agency (LEA) and state levels, and will work with the program manager to inform continuous quality improvement efforts. The scope of work includes increasing the number of school psychologists in high-need LEAs, empowering these LEAs to implement comprehensive, trauma-informed Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and expanding supportive services for caregiving youth statewide. The evaluator will be expected to develop an evaluation plan, conduct performance monitoring, develop evaluation tools, manage data collection, and present findings to grant partners. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical merit, cost, and MBE/WBE/Disability Business Enterprise participation.
