Description
The Regional Municipality of Niagara is soliciting proposals for the "2026-RFP-86 Microwave Radio Replacement Project" for the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS). This project involves the complete, in-place replacement of the existing Ericsson microwave radio system that supports the NRPS's mission-critical communications network and P25 radio system. The scope includes the supply, delivery, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, training, and warranty support for the new microwave radio equipment. Existing microwave dishes and primary physical support structures are to remain in place, with no replacement of dishes or realignment anticipated unless specifically identified by the NRPS. The successful proponent will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, software, licensing, tools, transportation, and safety measures to deliver a fully commissioned system.
