Description
This is a sole source solicitation for the TACLANE-FLEX Customizable Encryption Platform. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order to General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) for 13 units of the TACLANE-FLEX Customizable Encryption Platform - 1 Gb/s Bundle. GDMS is identified as the only capable source that can meet the government's schedule requirements without incurring unacceptable duplicative costs. The platform is described as a fully tactical 1 Gb/s full duplex HAIP/INE with key, algorithm, and protocol agility, and the ability to provide additional security services. It includes Agile VLAN and TTS software, a 10/100/1000BaseT Ethernet cable, two 1000Base-SX Multi Mode Pluggable Optics, a standard power adapter, a spare CIK tag, and a 5-year hardware/software warranty and Help Desk Support. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 335999, with a Small Business Size Standard of 600 employees or fewer.
