Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport intends to procure three (3) FiBO 250 Interferometer Packages, along with adapter ferrules and connector adapters. This procurement is being conducted as a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, specifically on a 100% small business set-aside basis, with NAICS Code 334515 and a small business size standard of 750 employees. The FiBO 250 Interferometer Package (P/N: SYS-250) includes the interferometer itself (fixed magnification), FiBO Code Software v3.1 on a flash drive, a calibration target set (2D, 3D, Apex Offset), a rugged carrying/storage case, a 6 ft USB 3.0 connection cable, user manual and documentation on a flash drive, and a 1-year warranty on hardware. The solicitation also includes CLIN 0002 for three (3) Adapter Ferrule 2.0mm PC (P/N: A1-UPC-200) and CLIN 0003 for three (3) Connector Adapter ST. The government requires brand name items with no substitutions allowed, as the existing infrastructure relies on the FiBO 250 for repair and manufacturing. Using any other model would result in incompatible parts, increasing the logistics footprint and requiring separate maintenance for different interferometer models and software. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination to Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI, 02841, with a required delivery date of 10 weeks ARO or sooner. The government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to the eligible, responsible offeror with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote.
