Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is seeking to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for High Pressure Proximity Switches, in accordance with government drawings. This requirement is being solicited on a sole source basis to Turn Around Factor (TAF), the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), who also holds SBIR rights that preclude awarding to another party due to intellectual property rights. Without this essential equipment, the existing system would become non-operational and adversely impact the Fleet. The solicitation includes two line items: Proximity Switch Part# 53X-00-100 (Qty. 30) and Proximity Switch Part# 53X-01-260 (Qty. 10). Delivery shall be FOB Destination, Newport, RI 02841. Applicable documents, which include CUI Specific Controlled Information, must be requested by June 10, 2026, and require registration according to the DoD Joint Certification Program (JCP). To request documents, vendors must contact Kristin Amarant via email and include their CAGE Code and certified DD2345. Documents will be provided via a DoD SAFE link and will expire seven days after transmission. To be deemed technically acceptable, offerors must quote the required items in the required quantities, meet a delivery timeline of 180 days after contract award or sooner, and meet past performance requirements as outlined in SPRS. Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov prior to award.
