City of Boulder City Request for Proposals 2026-08 Development of Recreational Vehicle and Trailer Storage Facilities (Re-Issued) (August 10, 2026) DESCRIPTION OF WORK: In accordance with Nevada Revised Statutes NRS 332, the City of Boulder City (“the City”) is seeking Proposals from highly qualified Respondents who are knowledgeable about and have the ability to plan, finance, develop, construct and operate a recreational vehicle, boat and trailer storage facility to lease property from the City for such purpose. The successful Respondent(s) will be an integral part of continuing the City's efforts to provide additional storage facilities for local and regional owners of recreational vehicles and will be expected to conduct their activities in compliance with the highest standards. OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: The plans, specifications, and all contract documents may be obtained at https://www.ngemnv.com. Bidders who download the contract documents are responsible to check the webpage for updates and addenda. These items are constituted as part of the contract. RECEIPT OF AND OPENING OF BIDS: Sealed proposals will be received electronically utilizing the Nevada Government eMarketplace (NGEM) located at https://www.ngemnv.com until 2:30 PM, September 15, 2026. The proposals will be opened promptly after 2:30 PM utilizing the Nevada Government eMarketplace (NGEM) electronic bid system. Description
The City of Boulder City is seeking proposals from highly qualified respondents capable of planning, financing, developing, constructing, and operating a recreational vehicle, boat, and trailer storage facility on property leased from the City. The selected respondent will be responsible for developing and operating the facility and obtaining applicable permits and approvals. A subsequent lease will contain prevailing-wage language for construction work. The proposal evaluation will consider the respondent’s qualifications, technical approach, business plan, and financial capability. The minimum acceptable lease rent is $0.615 per square foot, or $26,846 per acre per year.
