Description
The City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department seeks a contractor under a single prime contract to construct force-main and gravity sewer improvements at the Esmeralda Golf Course maintenance facility. The base work includes decommissioning the existing septic system, installing a reservoir with a dual-pump system, upgrading electrical service with a new 400-amp panel and future-improvement raceway, installing a 2-inch HDPE force main, protecting trees and the site, restoring the gravel maintenance road, and completing related work shown in the plans and specifications. An additive alternate covers off-site gravity sewer improvements in the Rich Avenue right of way, including a 6-inch sewer, asphalt cutting and patching, and connection to the sewer main. The contractor must identify a Certified Arborist as the general contractor or subcontractor, and that arborist must appear on the City of Spokane Urban Forestry approved-arborist list by the bid date. Addendum No. 3 revised plan sheets C1.01, C2.00, C2.01, and C2.02. The project includes prevailing-wage requirements, tree protection and related arboricultural work under City standards, a one-year labor-and-materials warranty, and required bid, payment, performance, and insurance obligations.
