Mercer County’s Department of Human Services, Office on Aging/Aging and Disability Resource Connection, is accepting proposals for county direct funding of $255,019 per year. Funding supports clinical services for children, transitional services, recreational opportunities and summer camp scholarships, and care management for adults with disabilities aged 18–59. Programs serve county residents aged 60 and older and/or residents with physical or developmental disabilities, as specified for each program. Priorities include people with the greatest social and economic needs, minorities, people at risk of institutional placement, older adults with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, caregivers, and residents with severe disabilities. The County may award a two-year contract with one one-year extension, a one-year contract with two one-year extensions, or a one-year contract with a two-year extension.
