Description
Memphis Community Schools is requesting proposals for comprehensive snow plowing, salting, sanding, and ice-removal services during the 2026–2027 winter season. The scope covers parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, play pads, school entrances and rears, loading docks, and other areas at four district properties. Sand must be used instead of salt on designated new-concrete areas, and the contractor must mark serviced parking lots and drives with reflective markers and keep snow piles from obstructing roadway sight lines. Services must be performed in response to weather conditions, with the bus garage cleared before 5:45 a.m. and all other buildings cleared by 7:00 a.m. after a snow event. Proposals must include company experience, service approach and equipment, proposed scheduling, detailed per-push and all-inclusive seasonal pricing including salt, client references, proof of liability insurance, and required Michigan licenses or permits. The submission must also include the required signed, sworn, and notarized disclosures and compliance statements.
