Description
Armada Area Schools is seeking a contractor to provide snow removal services for designated areas at its high school, middle school, elementary school, administration building, and transportation lot. The scope includes light snow removal for accumulations under five inches, heavy snow removal for accumulations over five inches, and emergency salting using district-provided salt. Snow must generally be removed by 6:00 a.m. on school days, with plowing performed in the district-specified order of transportation lot, high school, middle school, elementary school, and administration building. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, tools, expendable materials, supplies, supervision, safety measures, and damage repairs. Proposals must include pricing for all bid categories, the district's bid proposal form, notarized familial-relationship and Iran-linked-business affidavits, training documentation, applicable pesticide and herbicide licenses, OSHA safety information, and any product specification sheets. The contract period is October 31, 2026, through October 30, 2027, with possible mutually agreed extensions. Insurance certificates are required after award, rather than with the proposal.
