Description
St. Charles County Government is soliciting bids for a turnkey exterior sealant replacement and repair project at Family Arena. The work includes removing and replacing sealant at designated horizontal and vertical metal siding joints, repairing up to 200 linear feet of the existing Dowsil 123 system with a unit price for additional replacement, sealing exposed siding screw heads and gaskets, and restoring joints between precast concrete panels with compatible backer rod and Dow 790 or equivalent exterior-grade sealant. The contractor must furnish labor, materials, equipment, lifts, scaffolding, supervision, waste disposal, surface preparation, cleaning, inspections, and final cleanup. The work must include watertight joint restoration, protection of adjacent surfaces, applicable safety documentation and training, compliance with Missouri prevailing-wage requirements and certified payroll, and any necessary subcontracted trades. The bid package includes a completed bid form, exception sheet, affidavits and certifications, and required bonding and insurance provisions.
