Description
The City of Maryland Heights is soliciting bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to remove and properly dispose of small trees less than six inches in diameter and underbrush along the I-270 right-of-way that obstructs drivers' views of Aquaport. Work must follow the project drawings and specifications. The contract requires payment of prevailing wages. Successful bidders must comply with Missouri requirements concerning OSHA-approved 10-hour construction safety training for on-site employees. For contracts exceeding $5,000, the successful bidder must also provide the required federal work-authorization documentation and sworn affidavit concerning unauthorized employment. A bid security equal to five percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid.
