Description
St. Charles County Government is soliciting bids for Phase 3 replacement furniture for Justice Center detention housing units. The required products include rotationally molded, high-impact polyethylene or comparable anti-ligature bed platforms, wall-hung bunks and safety rails, wall-mounted ADA desks, stools, two-tier shelves, personal shelves, wall steps, and ancillary seating. Products must meet or exceed the stated dimensional, load, durability, sanitation, flammability, fastening, warranty, and testing requirements, including specified ISO, ASTM, ANSI/BIFMA, UL, and California flammability standards where applicable. Installation is excluded, but the awarded vendor must provide installation instructions and any proprietary fasteners required. Bidders must provide pricing by housing unit and unit pricing for ancillary seating, identify all deviations or exclusions, provide manufacturing lead time, and attach warranty terms or applicable discounts and additional pricing terms. Prices must remain firm through the project, with delivery scheduled by housing unit between January 2027 and April 2028, subject to County-approved adjustments. The contract is expected to run approximately 24 months from notice of award, with one optional six-month renewal period.
