Marcola School District 79J is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to develop a FEMA-compliant Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan (NHMP). The plan will assess natural hazard risks, identify vulnerabilities across district facilities and operations, and develop strategies to reduce long-term risk to students, staff, infrastructure, and instructional continuity. The selected consultant will lead the planning process, including hazard identification and risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, mitigation strategy development, and plan finalization. The project is expected to last 6-9 months, with the plan submitted to the Oregon Office of Emergency Management by February 1, 2027.
