Description
The City seeks a qualified contractor to repair, replace, install, and maintain commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems and their components. The work includes routine and emergency service, labor, equipment, parts, and materials; emergency requests require acknowledgment within 30 minutes and on-site response within two hours. The contractor must also provide annual condition reports for the City's units and submit quotations for planned or non-emergency work when requested. Bidders must hold a Florida Class A Air Conditioning Contractors License, have at least five years of commercial HVAC-R experience, and provide three similar project references completed in the southeastern United States within the past five years. The initial contract term is three years, with two optional one-year extensions. A public construction bond may be required for specific work orders; no bid bond is required.
