Description
The City of Jacksonville is soliciting bids for construction of a 12-foot by 6-foot-8-inch brick monument sign at Jacksonville Commons Recreation. The base scope includes a single LED digital display, precast wall cap and base, red brick and CMU masonry, aluminum lettering, reinforced concrete foundation, steel lintels, electrical service connections, backfill, finish grading, and sodding. An alternative bid is requested for a double-sided LED digital display. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals; comply with North Carolina contractor licensing requirements, Buy America requirements, Davis-Bacon requirements, and applicable federal transit provisions; and complete the work within 60 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. The bid package requires the Bid Proposal and Attachments A through D: Lobbying Certification, either Buy America Compliance or Buy America Non-Compliance Certification, and Debarment, Suspension, and Ineligibility Certification. A contractor's license is required. Insurance is required, including general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and builder's risk coverage as applicable. Performance and payment bonds are identified as contract requirements after award.
