Description
The City of Round Rock is soliciting a competitive sealed proposal for construction services to upsize approximately 2,650 linear feet of existing 12-inch wastewater line to 15-inch wastewater line along Rod Carew Drive. The work includes open-cut excavation, bypass pumping, service reconnections, manholes, trench safety systems, flowable backfill, pavement and irrigation repairs, erosion control, traffic handling, and restoration. The proposal must include the cover sheet, questionnaire, questionnaire signature and acknowledgment, Form 1295, bid bond, bid form, statement of bidder safety experience, and total proposed contract sum. The agreement, performance bond, payment bond, and certificate of liability insurance are not required with the proposal submission. The selected contractor must complete substantial completion within 180 calendar days and final completion within 270 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Evaluation considers price, past project experience, company and construction-team qualifications, project approach and quality control, and administrative compliance.
