Description
The City of Fargo Inspections Department is soliciting proposals for complete demolition and removal of a wood-framed duplex, detached two-stall garage foundation, exterior junk, concrete patio, driveway, garden structure, basement components, utilities, and related debris at 111-113 32nd Avenue North. The contractor must protect adjacent facilities, coordinate utility disconnections, cap water and sewer lines, obtain required permits, provide disposal and recycling, control dust, and comply with asbestos, lead-based paint, hazardous-waste, and applicable environmental requirements. Regulated asbestos must be abated by a licensed North Dakota asbestos-removal contractor when required. The scope also includes backfilling and compacting excavations, fine grading for positive drainage, importing or salvaging topsoil, seeding, fertilizing, hydro-mulching, clearing and grubbing, and final site cleanup. Proposals are evaluated on qualifications and experience, understanding of the scope, and cost. The proposal must include project and bidder information, itemized utility-capping costs, applicable tree-removal costs, exceptions or deviations, additional-item pricing, and a signed proposal. The mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for September 29, 2026, and proposals are due October 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Central Time.
