Description
Mayville State University is soliciting bids for one or more facilities-service categories: electrical, plumbing, custodial, grounds and landscaping, snow and ice removal, and mechanical/HVAC services. Electrical work may include low-voltage, fiber-optic, fire-alarm, security, camera, data-cabling, lighting, power-distribution, installation, repair, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting. Plumbing work includes installation, repair, maintenance, emergency repairs, fixture and piping work, water heaters, backflow devices, sewer and drain cleaning, and leak detection. Custodial work includes routine, event, emergency, seasonal, and deep cleaning; restroom sanitation and restocking; trash and recycling removal; carpet and hard-floor care; and related campus cleaning. Grounds and landscaping work includes mowing, trimming, planting, tree care, seasonal cleanup, irrigation, restoration, and storm-debris removal. Snow and ice services include clearing sidewalks, parking lots, and streets; applying sand or ice melt; and hauling snow to an off-site contractor location when directed. Mechanical/HVAC work includes installation, repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment service, controls, refrigeration, testing, balancing, and emergency heating, cooling, or ventilation repairs. Bidders may respond to one or more categories, and the solicitation provides for primary and secondary awards in several categories. Subcontracting is prohibited, and contractors must provide their own labor, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, and required certifications. The contract is anticipated to run from October 9, 2026, through October 8, 2027, with up to nine 12-month renewal options.
