Description
The Town of Madison is requesting Statements of Qualifications from professional planning consultants or firms to assist with preparing the Town’s Natural Resources and Open Space Inventory. The work includes natural-resource data collection and fieldwork; research concerning soils, geology, farmland, forests, trees, water resources, species, wildlife habitats, coastal habitats, open space, threats, and preservation opportunities; review of relevant local, regional, and state plans; and identification of natural, historic, and cultural attributes. Expected deliverables include a written narrative and interactive mapping and data-visualization elements, such as maps, tables, and charts. The selected consultant will support an inclusive community-planning process involving Town boards and commissions, residents, businesses, and other stakeholders. The Statement of Qualifications must address company information, project personnel and resumes, subcontractors, comparable experience and references from the past five years, proposed approach and work plan, services expected from the Town, and familiarity with Madison. Two notarized affidavits—the Non-Collusive/Non-Conflict Affidavit and the Affirmative Action/EEO Affidavit—must be submitted with the Statement of Qualifications. Insurance certificates and related endorsements are required only from the selected respondent before contract performance begins.
