Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to make a sole-source award to Sun Nuclear, a Mirion Medical Company, for equipment supporting the expansion of stereotactic body radiation therapy and stereotactic radiosurgery services. The acquisition includes radiation therapy quality-assurance systems, motion-management phantoms, MRI-supported imaging equipment, accessories, inserts, and customer web-based training. Required items include Daily QA 4 Pro, an adapter plate for six-degree-of-freedom couches, SRS MapCHECK, the StereoPHAN package with MRI support, the AVa alignment-verification phantom, StereoPHAN shift inserts, the STEEV SRS phantom and associated chamber kit, electron-density and Winston-Lutz cubes, MRI/CT/PET target inserts, and a spatial 3D distortion insert. This is a notice of intent to sole source rather than a request for competitive proposals; firms believing they can meet the requirements must submit product and service information, supporting evidence, and customer references.
