Description
Allegan County seeks a contractor to replace two aging HVAC systems serving Conference Room 117 in the Central Dispatch Building. The scope includes procuring two air-conditioning units and two air-cooled condenser units, including necessary options, accessories, and new refrigerant lines; disconnecting, removing, and disposing of existing equipment; installing and reconnecting ducts, vents, gas, electricity, and controls; and conducting startup testing with County Facilities Management. Building automation controls will be supplied by Grand Valley Automation, and the contractor must coordinate disconnection and reconnection with that provider. The contractor must verify equipment dimensions, available space, connections, and site conditions during a mandatory site visit. Work must be scheduled at least five business days in advance and generally performed during regular business hours. The proposal must include company information, relevant experience with three similar installations for commercial clients in southwest Michigan, proposed equipment descriptions and specification sheets, confirmation that refrigerant lines are included, warranty information, a signed agreement, and the completed Cost Proposal. Performance and payment bonds are required after award if the contract exceeds $50,000, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
