Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to negotiate a sole-source purchase order with Naiad Dynamics US, Inc. for a Networked Ride Control System Electronics Renewal Package for the USN SWATH 40ASC vessel. The package includes a next-generation Distributed Control System using a Controller Area Network architecture and an active Total Ride Control System that modulates existing canard and stabilizer fins through precision electro-hydraulic servo valves and closed-loop digital feedback. The upgrade will replace obsolete ride-control electronics and reduce vessel pitch, roll, and heave accelerations while maintaining ship stabilization. This is a special notice and not a request for competitive proposals; firms believing they can meet the requirement may submit written capability documentation or request additional information. No solicitation package is available.
