Description
Grand Valley State University is soliciting proposals for comprehensive golf course improvements. The work includes relocating and installing drainage near Hole 1; rebuilding tee pads at Holes 2 and 9; renovating the greenside bunker at Hole 6 with an Ecco Bunker riveted wall and new drainage; dredging approximately one acre of pond; excavating and installing a wet well and approximately 110 feet of 24-inch PVC sewer pipe for pumphouse reconstruction; and reshaping the driving range base with five target complexes, improved drainage, grading, and seeding. Work is scheduled for Fall 2026 for the Hole 1 drainage, pond dredging, and pumphouse work, and in 2027 for the range-base work. The university or golf club will supply specified materials, including topsoil, sod, seed, Ecco Bunker material, cement, drainage materials, and other project materials. Selection criteria include required golf course construction experience, preferred experience with Ecco Bunker products, availability during the required timeframe, past work and references, and cost. Proposers must include two references from similar services and a completed and signed W-9.
