Description
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities, on behalf of its Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities, is soliciting bids for a new Hitachi HT7800II 120kV transmission electron microscope package. The package includes the microscope, pneumatic objective aperture assembly, three-specimen holder, Hitachi LC15 15 MP direct-mounted camera, Haskris LX2 air-cooled water recirculator, specified accessories and deliverables, shipping, inside delivery, room survey, installation, calibration, and two days of on-site advanced applications training. The bid must include a comprehensive five-year warranty and service agreement with annual preventative maintenance, software updates, parts and travel coverage, technical and application support, training materials, and repair response within three days of issue reporting. Bidders must submit the original cost proposal form and comprehensive warranty/service plan; references and a New York State Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire are also required with the bid or upon request within three business days. Award will be made to the responsible and responsive bidder offering the lowest total combined cost. Subcontracting requires written agency permission.
