Description
Kent County seeks an independent contractor to provide timely eligibility screening and assessment for individuals referred to the 17th Circuit Court Treatment and Support Court. Duties include contacting referred individuals, obtaining records with appropriate releases, administering substance use, mental health, and risk/needs screening tools, completing referral documentation, and presenting results and recommendations to the multidisciplinary team. The contractor will also maintain records in the State of Michigan DCCMIS system, coordinate with treatment providers and justice-system partners, and participate in team meetings as needed. Required qualifications include a master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field; relevant licensure or licensure eligibility; experience conducting substance use and mental health screenings or assessments; and experience working with justice-involved individuals. The contract term is one year. Compensation is capped at $210 per screening and $29,829 annually. The contractor must provide proof of vehicle and liability insurance.
